In the midst of the dreary, bone chilling winter days over here, wouldn't it be great if I could stroll outside and see something like this.....
How gorgeous!
In the heart of the coldest time of the year, colour like this would sure lift my spirits and put a spring in my step.
Is there anywhere around where you live that lifts your spirits and helps the 'dreaded drearies' disappear?
We don't seem to have bright colours used much on house exteriors over here. And, I guess some people might go a bit wild and end up with a bit of an ugly mess if they didn't know what they were doing colour wise...... but these sure look great don't they?

Hi Linda, yes they are just gorgeous colours and very tastefully done! I wonder what it would be like to live in a country with snow? My cousins live in Canada and they told me when it snows, your lifestyle is harder in every aspect.

I'd love to visit Canada one day, the people are apparently really friendly. Maybe you can visit your cousins one day? I agree with them, it must be so hard to deal with the amount of snow they get, I can't imagine having to work around that on a daily basis for a good chunk of the year.
DeleteOh these are definitely wonderful ... so bright and cheery. We don't really have anything like that near where I live ... everything's a bit more neutral and plain. Those buildings look a bit like wild flowers.

What a great description Tracey, they are like wildflowers aren't they!
DeleteThey remind me of the colours of the houses in a gorgeous town in Germany called Koblenz. It is so beautiful:)
ReplyDeleteSigh, I so need to travel and see some of these glorious sights. One day! Good to see you JA! xx
DeleteI don't know. there is no reason why we shouldn't give every building a nice color. In Sevilla buildings are super colorful and people look happy. You literally walk through color therapy. there is no way this doesn't affect people's mood, no way. That is why I love white, but when it comes to my own surroundings I NEED color. You know better, right?

Agreed, it has to effect people's mood in my opinion. Sevilla sounds like a great place to be!
