I love these bookcases! I have an under-stair area which this idea would be perfect for ... I really need to get my renovating hands into gear!

Oh yes. I have a staircase, and there is a little space under it, and I am in fact thinking of adding one more bookcase. Billy shelves addict. I used to have a bookcase in the same spot when I just moved in nine years ago, but it was a bookcase that had seen the crusades for how it was old...it just cracked under the weight. I then moved most of my books in the studio, but I really need space for all the materials I use to create, so I have to move a couple of tons of books downstairs again. It's a hard life for us heavy readers in little houses.
