Bobbi's got a super serene, calm, and beautifully relaxing minimalistic type beach house over on her blog... the last pic in her series of pics is to die for. It's over in South Africa, and the sky is so clear and blue!
Over in Germany, on the other hand, I found this delightful view of the most quaint and inviting street of colourful houses/apartments/shops!
I'd LOVE to get behind those doors and explore, and just wander aimlessly up and down the street peeking around.
What a street!
Where in the World would you like to live/explore?

ReplyDeleteThis place in your picture is wonderful!! I live so close to Germany and I have never been. I don't know where I would like to live exactly but it should be a place with a lot of wild nature and some water, lake, sea, whatever. When I was 21 I was leaving for Canada and I always thought it could be my ideal place. And then you know my obsession for Scandinavia! But it's too cold, for too many months in a row, not to mention dark!! And I'm kind of a gipsy, I can't stay for a long time in the same place. Now I have this shop that keeps me here, but if I dodn't I think I could have gone somewhere else...have no idea where!

Incredibly beautiful Linda, just picture postcard perfect. Makes you want to travel doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteMeee? Paris. Fiji. Yeah, Paris and Fiji :)
ReplyDeleteThat street is so beautiful that it almost looks fake!
ReplyDeleteWhen I traveled to Europe ages ago, I remember being struck by how beautiful the narrow streets and even alleyways were. There was so much history and character in the buildings and detail, I couldn't get over it!
Thanks for bringing back the memories :)
I agree what a street. I think any street in any country. I am always curious about 'other peoples houses' Charmaine
ReplyDeleteWow! that is a great picture, I too would love to wander up and down the rooms of these colourful homes. I think I would choose somewhere tropical and warm, where I could swim and snorkel and then lay under a shady tree listening to the waves and my children playing. a beautiful open plan hut that lead straight out on to the sand with some afternoon thunderstorms just to cool down after a hot day. That isnt too much to ask for is it?
