The Essence Of Turning A House Into A Home....
When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life. ~ Jean Shinoda Bolen.
I think the above quote gets to the essence of how to turn a house into a true home for the heart and soul.
Oh how I love butterflies. Having them around me in my home brings me joy. I have quite a few fake feathery ones on my walls, and I adore them. They make me feel good, and they remind me of a dearly missed loved one.
Do you have things around you that nourish your soul and bring you joy?

Yes. My collection of cd am lp. You can definitely call me a hoarder of music. My house walls are simple, not many decorations if not some old paintings the belong to my family, but even though I love them, nothing makes me feel at home like my music collection. I have very, very old vinyl records, some of them are also valuable.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was a little more romantic so that I could add a nice touch like your butterflies, but I am a rock and roll kind of girl...
have a great Sunday!

Oh, I love that butterfly wall decoration - and how well it looks in that room! You know I too have a thing for butterflies - I was looking for great butterfly pics when I first landed on your blog...
